About this place
Hwapungjeong is in Boeun-gun, Chungbuk, and uses wild mountain greens gathered from the clean area of Songnisan. Its pine mushroom stew, made with matsutake collected in autumn from Songnisan, is especially popular with both Korean and international visitors. Many dishes are served with jeongol, so it is a hearty place to eat, and lodging is also available.

충북 보은군에 위치한 화풍정에서는 속리산 청정지역에서 자생하는 산나물을 채취하여 이용하고 있다. 특히 가을철 속리산에서 채취한 송이버섯을 이용하여 요리한 송이버섯찌개는 국내외 관광객들에게까지 선호를 받고 있다. 전골과 함께 제공되는 음식도 많아 든든하게 항끼를 먹을 수 있다. 민박도 가능하다.
