Banggolae Muchimhoe Alley is a long-established food street in Daegu that has existed since the early 1960s. It is one of Daegu’s 10 famous flavors and is now included on the city tour route. The signature muchimhoe is made by mixing boiled squid, sea snails, and other ingredients with fresh radish shreds and water parsley in a spicy vinegar-and-red-pepper paste; it is known for its tender, chewy texture and its addictive balance of heat and sweet-sour flavor. The clam soup served as a side dish is said to pair especially well with it.

반고개 무침회 골목은 1960년대 초부터 자리하여 오랜 역사를 자랑하는 먹자 거리이다. 대구 10味 중 하나이며, 현재 시티투어 코스에 편입되어 있다. 무침회는 삶은 오징어, 소라 등에 싱싱한 무채와 미나리를 넣어 초고추장에 버무린 것으로, 부드럽고 쫄깃하다. 톡 쏘는 매운맛과 새콤달콤한 맛의 조화는 중독성이 강하다. 밑반찬으로 나오는 재첩 국과의 궁합은 환상적이다.
