In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the opening of Korea Film Archive, 62 Korean film researchers, critics, and movie industry workers were selected as the list of 100 Korean films. After a two-month survey of all Korean feature films released in theaters from the early days until December 31, 2012, a total of 101 films were selected. Only the top 12 films will be ranked, and other films will be released in the order of the year of production.
