To mark the 50th anniversary of the Seoul Independent Film Festival (SIFF), 100 representative works (50 short films and 50 feature films) were selected from a total of 2,699 films, including award-winning works (19751998) and screened films (19992023). This selection process involved 40 independent film experts, including creators, critics, researchers, and programmers, through surveys and deliberations.This list reflects the 50-year history of Korean independent cinema, which began with small-scale and short films, progressed through the era of new film movements, and established itself as a significant force in Korean film culture.※ Includes Korean feature films selected from award-winning works (19751998) and screened films (19992023).※ The list is presented in no particular order, based on the year of screening.
